SINGAPORE (8 August) - Hexogon Solution successfully executed its sixth successive participation in digital projection for Singapore's 52nd National Day Parade at the Marina Bay Floating Platform. The National Day was a resounding success with a 25,000-strong crowd of spectators.

The theme for this year's parade - "One Nation Together" was a message to all Singaporeans that regardless of origin and background, the nation should stand united and overcome all odds together. The show reflected on the country's immediate past, celebrated the present and looked forward to the future with six acts: Living together, growing together, thriving together, celebrating together, progressing together and one nation together - addressing issues such as terrorism, Zika, and environmental pollution. A total of 32 units of Christie Boxer 4K30 high-lumens digital projectors, 24 tracking cameras together with VYV Photon Media Servers and Albion Tracking servers were used. The entire stage floor transformed into a giant interactive platform that tracks and react to performers and props movement to enhance the show.

Adrian Goh, Group Managing Director of Hexogon Solution, highlighted "We are immensely honoured to be part of Singapore's National Day Parade for the sixth consecutive row. This is the first interactive tracking technology used on digital floor projection in NDP history. Tracking beacons were attached on performers to accurately map its position in the 3D space, allowing floor graphics to be projected onto specific areas and respond to the performers and props movement they are in motion. In the past, performers have to be conscientiously mindful to watch the moving graphics so that they can move concurrently with the moving graphics. Any delays can cause a time lag between the performer and moving graphics. This time lag is eliminated through our sophisticated state-of-the-art VYV tracking software as it instantaneously tracks, calibrates, render and maps moving graphics as the performers execute their actions".

Hexogon Solution continues to remain at the forefront of digital projection.
